I admire creativity. Music that I really like usually have at least some novel element in it. The music suggested by the streaming services algorithms doesn't do much good in that regard. It's mostly similar to stuff I already heard. So by following artists, and labels, and getting tips from friends I manage to discover some new sounds every now and then. New to me that is, it may not be new to everyone. Anyway, I figured I should share my discoveries here.

The Sabres of Paradise - Lick Wid Nit Wit
A 25 year old track is usually not very interesting to me, but here's an exception because it is from a time when musicians in the electronic genre seemed to go through great lengths to engineer novel sounds. I think that is lost some how. Also I never heard this one before.
The Skull Eclipses - Angels Don't Mind
From their recently released self titled album. The Skull Eclipses from Austin, Texas.

MeRCY - Creepy Crawlers
Nice drive on this track by Florida rapper MeRCY. For some reason it made me think of an old soundtrack to the movie Escape from New York. Weird how your brain associates things...

Team Rockit - Ode
This is a very laid back track with a lot less vocals than usual. I just love everything Team Rockit does. They really should reach a much bigger audience.
(If someone who doesn't speak swedish are curious abut the text in the graphics... "Kärleken vänder aldrig åter" means "Love will never return")

Moemaw Naedon & Brother Seamus - Shadowzone
The album Galactic Brethren: The Fall of Zidor from 2013 was a good collaboration by Moemaw Naedon and Brother Seamus. Hopefully Shadowzone is hint of a new album.
Proc Fiskal - Hello Boss
A track that, from my perspective, brings some genres together in a new way.

Balkan Bump - Aymo feat. Talib Kweli
Exotic sounds in hip hop and other western music is often nice. In this track it's probably the other way around - eastern and Balkan sounds with Talik Kweli's rap as the exotic ingredient. The result is equally nice.
